The Best Taco Salad Bowl {so easy, so healthy!}

As promised- here is one of my absolute favorite recipes.

This Taco Salad Bowl is super easy & super healthy; high in protein, low in carbs & calories, but tastes like delicious junk food!

We do it in 3 different ways; using either extra lean ground beef, ground turkey, or chicken breast.

Preparing Ground Meat:


-1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

-4 cloves garlic

-1/2 medium onion

-1 tablespoon cumin

-1 teaspoonf chilli powder

-1lb ground meat

Heat up medium size pan at medium heat.

Mince onion & garlic.

add oil, onion, garlic, and spices to pan. Fry for 3-4 minutes moving constantly to avoid burning.

Add meat, fry to fully browned.

Drain meat, add 1/2 cup water and continue frying until water has evaporated.

Preparing Chicken Breast:

Do so however you wish! Bake, bbq, fry or use the crockpot!

The Salad:

•Purchase prepackaged “American Blend Salad”

Other ingredients:

– salsa of your choice

– plain Greek yogurt


-green/yellow/red peppers



Mix all ingredients together, and top with either Tostitos organic blue corn chips, or garden of eatin sweet potato chips!

That’s it!
